I first played with Hank Becker in The Tomatoes. He was a rustic soul with more
genuine "feel" than just about anyone I've ever played with.He was a kind fellow,
with an infectious smile and a homey voice that was really easy to sing along with.
After The Tomatoes went our separate ways, it was over twenty years before I had
the opportunity to play with Hank again...but from the first note, it felt like no
time had elapsed at all. I'm so glad I got to spend some quality musical time
jamming with Hank again. He was a great guy and a great singer/songwriter...
and he left us way too soon.
